I have been a practising since the year 2000 and have worked in Adults' Services (generic and mental health), as a Social Worker, Senior Practitioner, Senior Team Leader and Lead Practitioner. In my current post of Senior Training and Education Officer, I have lead responsibility for the training of Approved Mental Health Professionals (AMHPs) and continue practising as an AMHP and Best Interests Assessor (BIA). I continue too, with front line Social Work practice, by undertaking regular work for an out of hours’ service. Combined with this, are my other roles of; Practice Educator, Court of Protection General Visitor and Education Quality Assurance Inspector.
