Public Service reform in Scotland: Find out what it means for social work and have your say on the future
Social work is at the heart of local government duties and responsibilities. The recent proposals announced by the Scottish Government, as part of their public service reform agenda, include ideas that would radically reshape local government, NHS, integration and potentially service delivery. The plans outlined are far from settled, and much or little could end up changing. We are already working with partners to interrogate what the details of the proposals could look like, understand what alternatives are likely to be proposed and what might actually change. Join us to hear more about what the plans are, what they mean, and give us your views. Representing your expertise, from leadership to front-line practice will be key to ensuring the Scottish Government understands the impact it’s proposals might have on social work and services.
