I have been employed as a qualified Social Worker for almost 20 years. I worked as a Social Worker and Advanced Practitioner for many years in a busy child protection team where I was responsible for chairing meetings, completing direct work with children, undertaking a wide range of assessments and writing reports. Over the past 11 years I have worked as an Independent Chair and as a Team Manager in a variety of different roles where I have been responsible for chairing strategy meetings, initial child protection conferences and reviews and providing supervision to a wide range of staff.
