Profile: Qualified for 40 years in social work. I am trained as a Practice teacher and MHO. Member of Fostering and Adoption Panel, children’s participation.
My specialism is in direct work with children and young people, ascertaining their views, wishes and feelings, as well as therapeutic work to assist in processing feelings and dealing with difficult information.
I have worked in both voluntary and local authority sector as a social worker, Senior Practitioner and manager. I work as an Independent Report writer for the Children’s Hearing. For 9 years I worked as a Reviewing Officer, chairing meetings, lead on planning and ensuring birth parent , and young person participation.
