Profile: I am a qualified social worker since 2003 but have worked within adult social care for past 30 plus years. I qualified initially as a RGN in 1987 but am not registered with NMC. I have a Diploma in Drug and Alcohol Studies. I compIeted a Management and Leadership course in 2018 at Kingston University. I am also a best interest assessor qualified since 2010. For past 7 years I have worked in DoLS and with mental capacity. I have done development work on the Community DoL process. I am a signatory signing off DoLS authorisations & ensuring assessments are of a good standard and lawfully compliant in line with the mental capacity act. I also worked for many years in safeguarding adults.

Extra skills: I have good working knowledge MCA & DoLS. I have management and supervisory experience. I have done training related to safeguarding, diversity and facilitated sessions on MCA for AYSE's.
