I have 17+ years of experience working within children’s services during which I developed a specialist knowledge of Child Protection and skills in managing a complex caseload and confidence in discussing difficult situations and managing other’s emotions. A core strength is in assessments, where it is necessary to quickly build a relationship in which you are able to gather the information needed to aid analysis for assessment.
I have completed a doctoral thesis on parental resistance deepening my knowledge of parental motivations and behaviour in relation to Child Protection systems. Studying refined my skills in time management, meeting deadlines, report writing and proof reading.
