BASW/SWU office hours over the festive break
All services will be paused until we return in the new year.
BASW UK, BASW England, BASW Cymru, BASW Northern Ireland and the Social Workers Union (SWU) will close on Tuesday, 24 December 2024 and will reopen on Thursday, 2 January 2025. SASW and BASW Cymru will reopen on Monday, 6 January 2025.
This means all services including Advice and Representation and wider member services will be paused from Tuesday, 24 December until we return on Thursday, 2 January.

- BASW members can access a range of support and benefits for social workers.

- Information about advice and representation for BASW and SWU members, and access 50+ guidance sheets created by the team which may assist you in resolving a current issue or managing the immediate problem and by providing an overview of what to expect from the process. The sheets cover a wide range of employment and regulatory processes as well as tips on how to approach certain situations or to prepare for meetings.
