UK Covid Inquiry | Call for Interviewees
As part of its preparations for Module 8 on Children and Young People, the UK Covid-19 Inquiry has set up a research project to hear from a range of adults UK-wide who worked with and supported children and young people during and after the pandemic, including social workers.
The provisional scope of Module 8, for which BASW has Core Participant status, includes children’s physical and mental health and wellbeing, children in contact with social services, children in contact with the secure estate (whether themselves or as a consequence of the detention of a parent) and children in the asylum and refugee system.
The project is actively seeking to recruit social workers practising in any of these areas for interview. If you are interested in taking part and sharing your experiences, please contact Marzieh Azarbadegan directly via email at Marzieh.Azarbadegan@ipsos.com by Friday 20 December 2024. Interviews will be scheduled for January 2025.
