New Guidance for On-Site Supervisors | We Want Your Help!
An online information sharing session for anyone who is interested in supporting On-site Supervisors who play a vital part in providing social work placements for learners.
This session will share the work being carried out by the BASW Professional Capabilities & Development sub-group to develop a guidance framework for On-site Supervisors (OSS). The guide provides an overview of the supervisory role for placement providers and OSS to ensure that we are able to provide good quality placement experiences for social work learners and produce capable and confident social workers.
The main purpose of the session is to gain feedback on the draft guidance, so the session will be open to participants to express their views.
