BASW Congratulates Winners & Finalists at Social Worker of the Year Awards
The annual event raises awareness of the life-changing work that social workers do everyday and recognises individual and collective achievements across the profession.
This year’s ceremony was once again hosted by broadcast journalist and TV presenter, Ashley John-Baptiste.
There were 18 awards presented during the evening, recognising outstanding contributions in areas of practice such as children’s and adults’ services, mental health, social work education and digital transformation. BASW was proud to sponsor the Practice Educator of the Year Award and Social Justice Advocate Award.
96 practitioners, teams and organisations were nominated for awards, with each category sharing its own inspiring story and countless examples of exceptional and creative practice.
