Risk & Audit Committee
We are looking for Committee members, who may already have experience in audit, finance, law, IT/data, or risk management; and/or Risk & Audit Committee experience in either the public or private sector, but this is an excellent CPD opportunity for those who do not currently have this knowledge and would like to develop these skills, as full training and support will be provided. Closing date for applications: 6th November at 2pm.

As a member of the Committee, you will contribute to upholding the rights and interests of members while ensuring fair and appropriate remuneration practices. This role provides a valuable opportunity to develop leadership skills, gain experience in organisational governance, business development, and financial management, and engage in strategic decision-making. PSW Editorial Advisory Board vacancy (Northern Ireland rep)
We’re looking for a BASW NI member to join PSW’s editorial board. You don’t need to have knowledge of publishing – the role of the board is to advise and support the editor on the content and direction of the magazine and monitor its quality. As a board member, you’ll take part in three meetings a year (MS Teams) where you will get a chance to review editions, contribute ideas and share social work expertise. Joining the board not only provides an opportunity to input into the production of PSW, it’s also a great way to increase your skills and experience.
