SASW is active on many social policy and social action fronts through collaboration with organisations across Scotland. We work closely with voluntary and community organisations, research and academic institutions, and other partners across health and social care to build coalitions and deliver projects which can positively impact and/or support Scottish social work.
Social Work Scotland is the professional leadership body for the social work and social care professions. Social Work Scotland are a social work leadership body, led by their members. They work to influence policy and legislation and to support the development of the social work and social care workforce.
One Parent Families Scotland (OPFS) provides expert advice, practical support and campaigns with parents to make their voices heard to change the systems, policies and attitudes that disadvantage single parent families.
Families Outside works exclusively on behalf of families affected by imprisonment including providing tools, resources, and training to those individuals and groups who come into contact with families affected by imprisonment.
The Health and Social Care Alliance Scotland (the ALLIANCE) is the national third sector intermediary for health and social care, bringing together a diverse range of people and organisations who share our vision, which is a Scotland where everyone has a strong voice and enjoys their right to live well with dignity and respect.
SASW is a member of The Poverty Alliance, who's work and goals include:

Scotland's Mental Health Partnership is made up of 17 professional bodies and mental health third sector organisations. Our members represent, among others, those with lived experience, providers, clinical professionals, carers, community support networks and the wider third sector. Each organisation contributes its direct experience and unique perspective to create an informed collective voice on mental health.
Healthy Air Scotland is a coalition of groups and organisations with a shared goal of reducing air pollution and poor quality air and the impact it has on individuals and communities.
