BASW Cymru notice on floods

BASW Cymru has opened its doors to donations of cleaning items, clothes and basic household items for flood-hit communities in Wales. 

"You will be aware of the devasting floods that hit the valleys areas of Wales," says BASW Cymru national director, Allison Hulmes.

"Communities worst hit have been rallying around to ensure that families who have lost everything are being provided with local support, but they are in need of cleaning materials/gloves, children’s clothes and basic household items.

"We want to put out a call to social workers who want to donate, that they can drop items to our Cardiff office and we’ll arrange for them to be taken to local organisers."
