Guidance issued by the Department for Health and Social care sets out how Local Authorities can use the new Care Act easements, created under the Coronavirus Act 2020 to help prioritise care and support during the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.
In response to this, the BASW England committee adult group developed a position statement highlighting the key issues for social workers.
