BASW open day unveils our new HQ and members area

BASW CEO, Ruth Allen and BASW Chair, Gerry Nosowska welcomed BASW members, branch members, council directors and neighbours to the event which saw a marquee with cakes, afternoon tea and live music.

Remembering Donal Mullally

The open day also involved a very special event as we unveiled a wooden bench and plaque – acting as a permanent memorial – for our colleague and friend, Donal Mullally, who passed away in April 2018.

BASW colleagues, many of whom worked very closely with Donal, were honoured to welcome Donal’s wife, daughters and close family members, who had travelled across the UK and Europe to be part of the event.
