Neeta Baicher, former Vice Chair of BASW, shares reflections
Diolch yn fawr iawn/Thank you very much to all my colleagues in the four nations for being part of my journey with BASW. Vice Chair duties with BASW felt like a tapestry of collaborative work striving towards a satisfying and fulfilling piece of art. Your friendship and support have been invaluable.
I have enjoyed being part of SWU, Experts by Experience and EDI group. Please let's continue to debate the issues respectfully to bring about the desired change in these challenging times. Contribution to this area of work have been from my own experience and knowledge.
It would be pleasing to see new members from diverse backgrounds joining BASW and bringing new and innovative ideas to the table to explore and build upon.
If as members you are unhappy with the procedures or processes, please discuss with the chair or VC to find alternative compromising solutions.
Don't worry about failures , you only have to be right once. -S Murty

My gratitude and Diolch yn fawr iawn to all for your kind words in BASW weekly update and at council meeting in May.
