By being members, we are all making a difference and helping our fellow social workers. I know we will keep supporting and encouraging each other.

Thank you to all members who have helped us to lead the social work response to Coronavirus across the UK. By sharing your views and experiences, we have been able to proactively raise issues with governments, regulators and employers, increase public awareness, and make progress in getting commitments to the right equipment and clear information for social workers.

I am deeply grateful to every member who has contributed to guidance and professional development to help social workers make sense of the changes. And to all who have led and taken part in other activities across the UK. I have been personally encouraged by the discussion in the independents groups, the support amongst students and the work of branch chairs. And I am thankful for the wisdom and time of Council members in helping our wonderful staff team to plan and deliver work.
