Resources and documents for "80-20 Conference session 2: Use and further development of the 'Kit Bag' a tool to assist relationship-based practice with diverse communities"
'Kitbags 'are interactive materials that can help social workers to build better relationship-based practice with the families we support. Professor Gillian Ruch from the University of Sussex helped devise this multisensory tool - in this session she will introduce it and speak about its future development.
Joining Prof Ruch are practitioners who have used the tool. They will help facilitate breakout rooms, where the Kit Bags benefits will be discussed with a practice focus. BASW Anti-Racism Lead Shantel Thomas will join the discussion, as well as Principle Social Worker Carol Sibley.
