About
I am a Social Worker with over 20 years post qualifying experience working with children and families. I have a specific interest in working with those impacted by developmental trauma. I value building a therapeutic alliance with parents, supporting them to develop a PACE attitude; which helps them to remain open and engaged to their child's emotional and developmental needs. I enjoy being creative when building a therapeutic relationship with the child and supporting and witnessing moments of attunement and deepened connection between them and their parents. I am currently undertaking my Theraplay practicum, and am trained in delivering Therapeutic Life Story work.
