Emma Young, a researcher based at the University of Strathclyde, is undertaking research looking at professional responses to mothers who are in and leaving care. So far, she has spoken to a small number of women about their experiences of the help and support that they have received from professionals. She is now keen to speak to social workers about their views and experiences of working with mothers who are either looked after or care leavers.
