BASW Cymru issues statement on tragic death of Elsie Scully-Hicks

Robin Moulster, Country Manager at BASW Cymru, said: “We would like to express our deepest sympathy to the family and friends of Elsie Scully-Hicks – her death is a shockingly tragic case. 

“As in all child deaths in Wales where abuse or neglect are believed to be involved, a child practice review (CPR) will soon begin.  The outcome of the review will provide vital lessons to be learned to help prevent similar devastating incidents from happening in the future.”
