BASW England Patron Jenny Molloy visits NI
BASW England Patron and best-selling author Jenny Molloy will be visiting Northern Ireland on 2 March for a two day visit as part of celebrations to mark World Social Work Day.
Having spent most of her childhood in care, Jenny’s story is outlined in her books, Hackney Child and Tainted Love. Her latest book, Neglected, features true stories of children's search for love in and out of the care system.
On 2 March, Jenny will share her experiences of living through the care system at two events in Antrim, where she will meet social workers, carers and others working with young people in care.
On 3 March she will meet up with young people who have experience of being in care during an event at Belfast’s MAC (Metropolitan Arts Centre).
