Concern expressed over Government's "misleading" myth-busting guide

BASW England has joined 32 other organisations in signing an open letter to Nadhim Zahawi MP, Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for Children and Families, expressing deep concern over inaccuracies in his department's recently released myth-busting guide on statutory guidance. 

The guide was published on the department’s Children’s Social Care Innovation Programme microsite. Several parts of the document incorrectly describe the statutory framework for England’s  care system, and following legal advice, the letter requests these sections to be immediately withdrawn.
