Draft Mental Health Reform Bill: UK Parliament consultation
The UK Parliament Joint Committee on the Draft Mental Health Reform Bill has published a survey consultation to collect views of individuals who have experience of the Mental Health Act, including practitioners.
The Bill is a proposal to change the law to try and improve the rights and treatment of people with mental illnesses and learning disabilities and/or autistic people.
The Joint Committee said: "We are the Joint Committee on the draft Mental Health Bill. To help us understand how the draft Mental Health Bill might affect people, we are asking patients, families, carers, practitioners, service users and others to let us know their views by filling out this survey. A summary of the responses to the survey will form part of our report and extracts from individual responses may be quoted anonymously in it."
