The GIRFEC toolkit
The GIRFEC toolkit
Following on from the success of the Getting It Right for Every Child (GIRFEC) GetLive! Project, Children in Scotland is in the process of developing a toolkit to support teachers and practitioners to share the messages of GIRFEC and wellbeing with children aged 3-12. This work is responding directly to what children and young people told Children in Scotland (CIS) about how they want to learn about wellbeing and how teachers, educators and other practitioners can help to support them with this. To ensure the toolkit is of a high standard CIS are carrying out scoping work with practitioners working directly with children and young people. CIS have already undertaken some detailed scoping exercises, however they want to ensure that they do not miss any excellent resources that are currently out there.
Children in Scotland would welcome your input and would be grateful if you could send them any wellbeing resources that you use or have developed. They would be grateful if you could send links to websites, worksheets or details of the resources that you use.
