Social work HCPC renewal update

As of Thursday 25 September 2014, 35.3 per cent of social workers in England had renewed their registration. This is an encouraging start, but it is extremely important for social workers who wish to stay on the HCPC Register to renew their registration as soon as possible.

Anyone who has not renewed by mid-November will be notified by HCPC of their intention to remove them from the Register unless they renew immediately and no later than 30 November 2014. Those who have not renewed by the deadline will be removed from the HCPC Register and will not be able to practise using the protected title.
