Mental Health Tribunals Scotland: The views and experiences of patients, named persons, practitioners and members project
Mental Health Tribunals Scotland are looking to recruit 52 mental health service users (aged 16+) with experience of the mental health tribunal, preferably within the last 5 years. This includes people entering the mental health system through community or forensic routes, people with a mental illness/personality disorder and people with learning disabilities who have had a mental health tribunal. If you are a social worker, and know anyone within your network who would be a good fit for this project, please share this recruitment flyer and this participant information sheet with individuals who fit the criteria and, if necessary, support them to contact MHTS to take part in the research. Other ways you could help with recruitment include sharing the study information amongst your network, through email, in a newsletter or social media, etc. The research will involve one hour long online interviews, or three 20 minute sessions, regarding experiences of the mental health tribunal. For more information or if you have any questions, please contact Aimee McDonald on a.mcdonald2@napier.ac.uk.
