NIASW Workload Survey - Goes Live

NIASW have launched a new survey aimed at gathering information on workload pressures.

This has come about as direct result of members bringing concerns to us about the volume of work they are dealing with on a daily basis. The survey is our way of establishing the facts, prevalence and scale of the problem.

It was launched on World Social Work Day and as part of the Stand Up for Social Work Campaign, as we hope this will be another means by which we can stand up for the profession and highlight some of the challenges that social workers and service users face.

We would really appreciate if you could complete the short survey (5 minutes approximately) and share the link with your work colleagues to encourage them to complete also. We want to be in a position to talk authoritively about this issue and that will require as comprehensive a response as possible.

If you hold a social work post in any sector or programme of care across Northern Ireland we want to hear from you.

The survey is totally anonymous and no individual or organisation who responds will be identified.

The survey will close on the 13th of April.
