Scottish Government Child Protection Improvement Programme

SASW has been invited to participate in two of the three groups which make up this programme. We were delighted to accept an invitation to the ‘Systems’ group and have now also been invited to represent our members on the ‘External Advisory Group’. We cannot stress enough how important it is for social workers in this complex area of practice to inform the improvement programme. The groups will report back to the Cabinet Secretary, John Swinney.
