Scottish Parliament Petitions Committee agrees further actions in support of social work bursary petition
The Citizen Participation and Public Petitions Committee has agreed to write to both SSSA and the Scottish Government again.
At this morning's session, the committee agreed that they would write to seek clarity around how other issues facing students such as the housing crisis are being considered when looking at social work student students finances.
It was also agreed to raise questions about the thought process behind freezing funding for bursaries for over a decade and the inclusion of 3rd and 4th year students.
