SWU announce winners of the World Social Work Day assignment competition

SWU are proud to feature the winners of the recent World Social Work Day (WSWD) assignment competition.

Assignments on “The benefits of social workers joining a trade union” were marked by the SWU Executive and Doug Nichols, General Secretary of the General Federation of Trade Unions (GFTU).

The four winners, who all received grants of £500, are:

• Munyaradzi Muchacha - University of Lincoln
• Tom Adamson - University of Dundee
• Robert Hales - The University of Manchester
• Natalie Bailey - Keele University
