Supporting Through Crisis: The vital role of social work and emergency planning from the team based at Heathrow Airport - Derbyshire & Nottinghamshire Branch Event
Join students and social workers from across the Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire region for this unique seminar and CPD event.
You are invited to an exclusive event to meet the dedicated team behind Heathrow Travel Care: a team of social workers and an emergency planning manager based at Heathrow Airport.
The service they provide is crucial in supporting vulnerable people from around the world, addressing issues such as homelessness, mental health concerns, victim support, repatriations, and safeguarding during humanitarian crises.
This is a unique opportunity to learn about the vital work of social work in this area and to explore potential collaborations in supporting vulnerable individuals in crisis situations.
