Understanding Hoarding Behaviour
An introduction to the formal diagnosis of hoarding disorder, recognising hoarding behaviours and the effects on daily living. Thinking about the potential causes and influencing factors, the risks posed by a hoarded home and some practical advice on how to address these. Suggestions for support pathways and case studies to consider, with opportunities for discussion and questions.

Trainer Bio :
Lisa Barrett - Clutter Free Living Ltd
Lisa is an independent Social Worker with over 20 years of experience across a range of services. She has specialised in working with people with hoarding behaviour for the last 8 years through her Ltd company Clutter Free Living. Lisa is also an Independent Best Interests Assessor, a registered trainer with Cruse Bereavement support and APDO – the Association of Professional Declutterers and Organisers. She works alongside her clients in their own homes, supporting them with both the emotional and practical aspects of addressing their hoarding and making their homes safe and accessible.
