Social Justice Outcomes Framework
Social Justice: Transforming Lives was published in March 2012. It set out the Government’s vision for a society in which local and national services work together to tackle the causes of poverty in the UK.
The Social Justice Outcomes Framework represents the next step in developing the Social Justice vision. It highlights our priorities, how we plan to measure progress, and, together with Social Justice: Transforming Lives, defines what we want to achieve.
The pursuit of a fairer society is not an easy or short-term task: delivering sustained improvement to the life chances of disadvantaged families and individuals will take years, not months. The Outcomes Framework will help to ensure that Social Justice remains at the forefront of Government policy as changes take effect.
