APPG for Social Work Elects Committee for 2023/24
David Simmonds MP was re-elected Chair of the All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) for Social Work at the Annual General Meeting of the APPG which took place on Monday 27th March.
The MPs and Lords in attendance briefly discussed issues happening in social work at the moment including the National Age Assessment Board, and recruitment and retention of the workforce.
Looking ahead, parliamentarians in attendance were in favour of looking at the workforce and the state of the profession.
