BASW brand and website launch
We are delighted to launch the newly refreshed BASW logo and new BASW website, which have been developed to deliver on our 2020 vision, to build membership services and strengthen our standing in the social work sector.
The refreshed brand uses modern fonts that work well online, fresh imagery that better represents our membership and a new strapline – as agreed by Council – that underscores our mission.
Furthermore, the new BASW website has been radically simplified to make it easy to navigate, especially on mobile devices, as well as allowing for new and exciting features.
Ruth Allen, CEO BASW said: “We are absolutely thrilled to share our newly refreshed brand which builds on the BASW legacy of almost 50 years and aims to support our strength and ambitions for the future. Our new professional website will offer a much-improved user experience for our members and stakeholders.
“These are major developments and important steps forward for our plans to fulfil the 2020 vision and BASW’s ambitions to build on our member services and strengthen our voice as the independent voice for social work and social workers.”
BASW brand family
We have developed a new brand for the Social Workers Union (SWU) in partnership with the SWU executive. This was an important opportunity to develop how the BASW and SWU brands work together and complement each other by also developing a new BASW/SWU co-brand.
Our country brands have been developed through consultation with our national standing committees and in line with the refresh to complete BASW brand family - representing our strong profile across the whole of the UK.
All BASW members will be emailed with new instructions on how they can log into the member area of the website, this will allow members to choose personal preferences and view our privacy statement.
We are keen to hear views from members. Please do get in touch.
