Right Care Right Person (RCRP) is a new approach being introduced in Northern Ireland to ensure that people experiencing health, social care or welfare needs receive support from the service best placed to meet those needs, while enabling police resources to focus on policing responsibilities. The model is being implemented in phases and social workers will play an important role in supporting individuals with complex needs, safeguarding concerns and mental health crises.
We are therefore seeking social workers' views to help us raise concerns, if they exist, about how prepared social work services are for implementation and identify any opportunities or challenges.
