By popular demand, SASW's MHO Conference is returning in person for 2026! Join us at the Technology and Innovation Centre, University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, on March 5th 2026 for this year's conference, Flourishing in Practice: Resourcing and Sustaining Scotland's MHOs.
This conference is sponsored by the Scottish Government and will offer a fantastic line up of plenary speakers, workshops and networking opportunities, including keynote speaker Joanna Macdonald, Chief Executive of the National Social Work Agency and Chief Social Work Adviser. Venue
The conference is taking place at the Technology and Innovation Centre, University of Strathclyde, 99 George Street, Glasgow, G1 1RD. The Centre is within a 15-minute walk of both Glasgow Central and Queen Street train stations. There is also car parking available at Duke Street Car Park and Q-Park Candleriggs. Accessibility
The Technology and Innovation Centre conferencing spaces are accessible, and their events team will be on-hand to offer directions, assistance and advice.
- there's level access to the building (Level 2 is the ground floor), with lift access available to all floors
- all Auditoria have wheelchair spaces for those unable to transfer into a seat
- all Auditoria and Conference Rooms are fitted with induction loops
- there are accessible/gender-neutral toilets on all floors, which are clearly signposted
- there are designated safe areas throughout the building for any delegates unable to evacuate using stairs in the event of an emergency situation
If you have any accessibility needs or dietary requirements, please let us know in advance of the conference so we can assist you. You can do this once you have booked your place by logging into your CRM portal, visiting the "My Bookings" page, finding the conference and clicking the "Edit" button.
