BASW England North Yorkshire Branch Event
At our next BASW North Yorkshire Branch meeting we will be joined by Joseph Doyle [Area Lead Leeds & North Yorkshire] from the Andy’s Man Club.
‘In mid-2016, nine men met in a small room in the stereotypical Yorkshire town of Halifax, with a simple aim of talking through their issues and helping each other deal with their mental health. All in attendance agreed there was magic in that room that had to be shared. This was the start of a movement that has grown faster than anyone first involved could have ever imagined with over 300+ groups across the UK’.
This promises to be a thought-provoking session, offering valuable insights for Social Workers and other professionals who support families. As always, our BASW branch meeting is a welcoming space to learn, reflect, share experiences and connect with other professionals.
Whether you are an experienced social worker, a newly qualified social worker, or a student social worker beginning your professional journey, we would love you to join us.
You do not need to be a BASW member to attend, and non-members are very welcome to join us as guests.
