Hair strand testing is often requested by the courts. But how does it work, how reliable is it, and what does it actually show?

This session led by Dr Simon Flacks will seek to answer these and other questions. There will also be an opportunity to discuss your experiences of working with cases where hair stand testing has played a significant role.

This session will be a key learning opportunity for social workers who undertake court work with children, their parents and wider family.
