A Picture of Social Work in the UK | Online Panel Discussion and Q&A
Monday 20 March - 12.30pm to 1.30pm
Panellists Julia Ross, Ruth Allen and Dr Rosanne Palmer discuss the findings of the BASW Annual UK Survey.
Refugees and People Seeking Asylum | A Global and Domestic Response
Tuesday 21 March - 1.30pm to 3pm
Led by BASW England, this session will explore recent research on migration and social work. Hear about campaigns, and social work with refugees and people seeking asylum.
World Social Work Day Student Essay Competition
This annual essay competition from the Social Workers Union for World Social Work Day poses questions about current issues in social work.
The competition is open to social work students at all levels and to apprentices. Up to four of the most compelling arguments in 750-1000 words will win £500 each. More details at www.swu-union.org.uk/world-social-work-day-student-essay-competition
