BASW Cymru social work survey: Social Workers Identity in Wales

BASW Cymru is calling on all social workers in Wales to complete our survey: Social Workers Identity in Wales.

In order to best improve the working conditions of social workers, BASW Cymru want as many perspectives as possible regarding what Professional Identity in social work means to you, what affects your Professional Identity and how your sense of Professional Identity could be improved.

A strong sense of identity for social workers is imperative to get the most from the profession and to improve the level of service that social workers are able to provide.

Allison Hulmes, BASW Cymru National Director, said: “A strong sense of Professional Identity is essential for social workers to stake a claim and be leaders in a rapidly evolving integrated policy context in Wales.”
