BASW NI launches all-island professional identity survey
The British Association of Social Workers Northern Ireland is leading an exciting research study exploring social workers’ sense of professional identity across the island of Ireland.
The Professional Identity survey has been developed in partnership with the NI Social Care Council, the Irish Association of Social Workers and Coru—the social work regulator in the Republic of Ireland.
The research is being conducted to explore the extent to which social workers have a sense of professional identity and the factors which contribute to, and detract from, their professional identity.
Information is being gathered via an online questionnaire hosted on the Survey Monkey platform. Click here to take part in the survey.
We are encouraging all social workers to join in to tell us how they view their professional identity. The information we collect will be central to our work as we continue to represent and strengthen the social work profession.
