BASW NI responds to NIO consultation on addressing the legacy of Northern Ireland’s past

Carolyn Ewart, BASW Northern Ireland National Director has written to the Northern Ireland Office (NIO) outlining the Association's response to the NIO consultation on Addressing the Legacy of Northern Ireland's Past. 

The submission highlights the importance of ensuring the institutions proposed by the NIO to deal with the legacy of the Troubles adequately address the inter-generational trauma which results from years of conflict and which continues to impact many social work service users.
