BASW is supporting NSPCC expert panel - get involved
The NSPCC wants to better understand the issues and the pressures facing people who work in the children’s sector and is setting up a UK-wide panel made up of social workers, school nurses, health visitors and midwives – anyone in fact who works in the children’s sector.
It wants to understand the issues that are important to the professionals who look out for the interests of children and young people – whether that is child neglect, domestic violence or even the way social workers keep up-to-date about best practice.
- Membership of the panel is completely voluntary and everything you say will be kept confidential.
- You will be asked to complete a 10 minute survey once or twice a year, and will be compensated for your time.
- Panel members can also choose to receive briefings setting out what the NSPCC have found and what they're doing about it.
If you’re interested, please click here and it will take you to a secure page where you can join up. It will take less than a minute to answer the questions, this is a real opportunity to be heard and to join a community of professionals who want to change the way services are delivered to young people.
