Calling England’s social workers – we need to hear your views on children’s services
BASW is working with the All Party Parliamentary Group for Children (APPGC) and the National Children’s Bureau (NCB) in a new inquiry exploring the causes of different threshold levels for accessing children’s social care services – and we need your views!
To help us to understand this issue, we are keen to hear directly from social workers about their experience of dealing with children’s social care thresholds, and about how decisions are made in practice.
So, if you are a social worker based in England please help this inquiry by filling out our short survey: https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/APPGCsocialworkersurvey
It should take no more than 10 to 15 minutes to complete and all responses will remain confidential and anonymous. No individual will be identifiable from any published data or report.
This inquiry follows the 2016 ‘No Good Options’ inquiry which found significant variation in the number of children accessing children’s social care services across the country.
