A Christmas Message from SASW
To each and every one of our SASW members
We wish you a very merry Christmas.
Thank you to all of you who have responded to surveys, attended communities of practice and supported the SASW team and National Committee this year. Your contributions give us credibility, strength and evidence from your practice so that we can speak confidently for you in re-imagining our post COVID world and campaigning, step by step, for better working practices, better services and greater social justice.
If you are working over the festive period, we hope that you are supported by your employers, colleagues across professional disciplines and the public to deliver support and comfort to those who need you at this time of year. Some information for additional support:
National Wellbeing Hub for those working in Health and Social Care
National Wellbeing Helpline for health and social care workers: T: 0800 111 4191
To all of you, we wish you some (safe) time with loved ones, a chance to recuperate and to take some time to yourselves to recharge. We hope you’ll find joy and peace.
We look forward to 2021, to working with you and on your behalf. The team will be back at work from Tuesday 5 January. Contact us at scotland@basw.co.uk
Seasonal best wishes
Jude Currie (Chair) and Alison Bavidge (National Director)
