Feedback sought on MSP Member Bills
There are two proposed MSP Member Bills currently seeking feedback from the public.
A Members' Bill is introduced by an MSP who is not a Scottish Government Minister. Before it can get formally introduced to parliament, the MSP proposing the legislation must publicly consult on their proposal.
- Jeremy Balfour MSP (Conservative) is propsing a Bill to introduce a Disability Commissioner for Scotland. You can submit feedback here. Deadline to respond is 3 August 2022.
- Paul Sweeney MSP (Labour) is proposing a Drug Deaths Prevention Bill which will establish overdose prevention centres. You can submit feedback here. Deadline to respond is 17 August 2022.
