NIASW Social Work Strategy Professional Reference Group
The Social Work Strategy is an exciting opportunity to improve and strengthen the social work profession in Northern Ireland. At NIASW we want to ensure that the voice and views of our members are heard as fully as possible during the development and implementation of the strategy between now and 2022.
We are looking for members who would like to be a part of shaping the future direction and work of the Social Work Strategy, through supporting Anne McAllister and Carolyn Ewart who sit on the Social Work Strategy Implementation Group and Professional Forum.
We want to recruit NIASW members who would be willing to act as a reference group and give their opinions on the work of the Social Work Strategy. We would also like this group to represent the diversity of social work across different programmes of care, geographical locations, sectors and grades.
We envisage that most of the work of this reference group will happen virtually and by email. We do however plan to have several opportunities to meet over the next 12 to 18 months and these activities will be CPD accredited.
If you are interested in becoming part of our reference group please contact Anne McAllister on a.mcallister@basw.co.uk or by telephone on 07815132429.
