SASW gives evidence at Scottish Parliament committee on the workplace parking levy
On Wednesday the 29th of May, SASW National Director Alistair Brown gave evidence at the Scottish Parliament Rural Economy and Connectivity Committee, on the issue of the workplace parking levy. We are calling for a national exemption for social workers on the basis that car use is essential to carry out the job safely and effectively. We are also seeking parity with colleagues in health as NHS premises are to be exempt from paying the levy.
